LAN File Transfer
Device-to-device · no upload · no size limit · no login
Send files directly between two devices on the same network. The transfer rides a peer-to-peer WebRTC channel (encrypted, device-to-device) — the bytes never touch a server, so there's no upload wait, no size cap, and nothing to sign in to. Open this page on both devices, pair with the code or QR, then drag files across.

How it works
- Both devices, same network. Open this page on each, then scan the QR (phone camera) or type the 6-character code to pair.
- Direct & private. Files move over an encrypted WebRTC channel device-to-device. Our server only relays the initial handshake — never the file.
- No limits, no login. No upload size cap and no account. On Chrome/Edge big files stream straight to disk; Safari/Firefox receive into memory (keep those under ~1 GB).
If it won't connect
Guest and public Wi-Fi often isolate devices from each other, which blocks the direct connection. Use a network you control, or fall back to a temporary share link instead.
